Since 1985, Noriko has devoted herself to her lifetime dream of creating quilts as the ideal medium to express her exuberant color usage and her deep feeling for trees. Teaching and exhibiting her work, Noriko enjoys her freedom to work full-time in her studio in Tokyo and also at her home in Chiba, Japan.

 

Noriko's work has been recognized for its oil painting, impressionistic landscape quality and has won many awards internationally.

 

Noriko is a much sought-after teacher and her work has been showcased in several published compilations of contemporary art quilts. Her series of Confetti Naturescape and art quilts are hanging in private collections worldwide.
